Volunteers make wreaths for New Hampshire veterans’ gravesites

AMHERST, N.H. — Dozens of volunteers pieced together handmade wreaths to be laid at the gravesites of local veterans.

The wreath-making event was hosted by Live Tree or Die Farm, a local Christmas tree grower in Amherst. The farm and several other tree growers donated trimmings for volunteers to craft into wreaths.

The wreaths will be laid at veterans’ gravesites at Saint Patrick’s cemetery in Amherst.

“I didn’t serve in our military, but I’m very proud of our nation,” said John Turner, Live Tree or Die’s owner. “I figured this is a way I can give back. I can at least honor those who have served us.”…
