As required by state law, the Education Oversight Committee (EOC) today approved Education Improvement Act (EIA) budget recommendations for Fiscal Year 2025-26. These recommendations focus on allocating EIA one-cent sales tax revenues and will be forwarded to the General Assembly for consideration in upcoming budget deliberations.
The committee’s recommendations prioritize improving student academic performance in mathematics and reading, and ensuring certified teachers are in SC classrooms.
