COLUMBIA, S.C. — A new bill seeks to implement a statewide uniform policy for police pursuits in South Carolina, addressing concerns over safety during high-speed chases.

The bill, pre-filed by Senator Darrell Jackson, would require the State Law Enforcement Training Council to come up with a policy for all law enforcement agencies to implement.
