The Manning Monarchs won 57-53 over the visiting Mullins Auctioneers on Tuesday, January 7, in varsity conference basketball action.
Manning had a 7-point lead after the first quarter, 16-9. At halftime, the Monarchs were up 30-22. In the third quarter Mullins outscored Manning 15-13, and in the fourth quarter, the Auctioneers outscored Manning 16-14 but came up short in the contest.
Manning’s Taivon Carter scored 17 points. L. Stevenson added 16 points to the scoreboard. Jeffery Ceasar placed 9 points onto the scoreboard for the Monarchs, and Lovon Stevenson had 8 points. Joshua Cooper added 5 points, and Tyler Green connected for 2 points…
