(WPDE) — The final weekend of October is almost here, and the weather will be split with the first half feeling much warmer than the second half.
The reason for the split — a strong cold front will cross through the Carolinas late Saturday into early Sunday, pulling in much cooler air which will stick around for a couple of days.
FRIDAY
Before the weekend officially begins, expect more warmth and quiet conditions. High-pressure overhead will keep the skies clear with temperatures climbing to the upper 70s to lower 80s inland. Coastal spots will have high temperatures in the lower to mid-70s.
Friday night will be cool, but not as chilly as the morning, with overnight lows in the lower to mid-50s.
