Mr. Joe Lillard Kemp, age 74 of the Four-Way Inn Community, died Tuesday evening, October 1 at Smith County Health and Rehab. He is survived by: wife of 54 years, Cathy Smith Kemp; 4 children, Leanne Kemp Hesson and husband Philip of Four-Way Inn, Lisa Kemp Harville and husband Jason of Four-Way Inn, Bonnie Kemp of Four- Way Inn, Joe Allen Kemp and wife Lynn McCall Kemp of Four-Way Inn; 7 grandchildren, Will Hesson and wife Jordan Hudgens Hesson of South Carthage, Grace Caroline Harville, McCall Sloan Kemp, Jack Brim Kemp, Gabriel Kemp Harville, Joe Allen Kemp, Macon Lynn Kemp all of Four-Way Inn; sister, Emily Sue Kemp Collins of South Carthage,; brothers, Jeff Kemp and wife Connie Shoemake Kemp of Four-Way Inn, Ted Kemp and wife Sonya Taylor Kemp of Four-Way Inn; 1 great-grandson, Jacob Kemp Hesson.
Mr. Kemp is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his visitation will begin on Thursday morning October 3, from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM. There will be no service at the funeral Home only a Private Family Interment which will be conducted by Eld. Dwight Dyer. …
