Killeen, Tx ( FOX 44 ) – Bond has been set at a quarter million dollars for an 18-year old Killeen man held in connection with a Saturday afternoon shooting.
Marquez Omar Cole remained in the Bell County Jail Tuesday charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Killeen Police Department spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said officers were sent to the 3800 block of Latigo Drive Saturday at 4:39 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Officers were told that the victim had been visiting at that location, and as he was about to leave, an argument broke out. During the altercation, a handgun was brought out and he was shot.
