MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Friday Night football fever is in jeopardy after the Hamilton High School Head Football coach says he and nine other coaches were ‘let go’ following a staff fight at a Memphis football game.
In a video we do not have permission to show, former Hamilton High School Football Coach Jerel Blanchard said the altercation that got him and nine other coaching staff members let go stemmed from the school’s Athletic Director allegedly accusing a student of being ineligible to play.
“I’m upset and frustrated about how the incident was handled due to the fact that there was not a real thorough investigation, it was only this is what we see, this is what we heard and this is what we’re gonna do,” said Jerel Blanchard, Former Hamilton High School Football Coach. “It was never coach Blanchard or staff Come in.
