An early morning crash in Irvine has claimed the life of a local woman, the Irvine Police Department reported via their Facebook page. The incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. at the intersection of Alton Parkway and Valley Oak. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Lucero Delarosa of Aliso Viejo, lost control of her Grey BZ4X Toyota SUV, striking a curb and a cement pillar which resulted in fatal consequences.
According to the post by Irvine PD, the Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene to assist, but Delarosa, the solo occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Despite the arrival of emergency services, they could not reverse the tragic outcome of the crash. The local authorities are delving deeper into this matter, with the Irvine PD’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) spearheading the search for the cause.
