Police officers recently responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a juvenile cyclist, who was riding a Surron e-motorcycle in the roadway, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department.
Luckily, the juvenile was wearing a helmet and only sustained minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
PSA: E-motorcycles, such as Surrons and Talarias, are legally classified as off road motorcycles and cannot be driven on public roadways or in public spaces. Riders contacted operating these types of illegal e-motorcycles are subject to citations, fines, and impounds.

Research the type of e-bike or e-motorcycle you are planning to purchase for your child and determine if it is legal for them to operate.
