UNION, Ky. — As homecoming season quickly approaches, one local barbershop is making a big impact on its community.
Nell’s Barbershop partnered with Ryle High School to offer free haircuts to students, helping them look and feel their best for the big night. Owner Darnell Bonner, along with his team of barbers, spent a few hours giving dozens of students a fresh look just in time for the dance Saturday night.
As the clippers buzzed and conversations filled the room, Bonner shared the importance of a great haircut. “You look good, you feel good,” Bonner said. “That’s a slogan we’ve all heard, and I believe there’s truth to it.”…
