TANK wants to hear from riders about proposed changes

The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky, often shortened to TANK, is seeking feedback on a raft of proposed changes to fares and services for 2025. People in TANK’s service area can leave feedback by attending a scheduled public meeting or by leaving feedback online.

Notable proposed changes include eliminating several routes, adjusting others and increasing ride fares to $2.

The increased rates were proposed due to the sunsetting of federal COVID aid funding, limited access to local funding alternatives and general increases in expenses. Frequent riders may still be able to save money in the long-term, TANK said, with the authority’s proposed account-based ticketing system, which grants monthly passes to riders who can’t afford them up-front…
