On Thursday (October 3, 2024), at approximately 10:00 p.m., Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop L were notified of a two-vehicle crash on LA Hwy 21 near Cleland Street in St. Tammany Parish. The crash ultimately claimed the life of 35-year-old Glenn Wells of Bogalusa.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Wells was driving a 2006 Nissan Sentra northbound on LA Hwy 21, while a 2015 GMC Canyon was traveling southbound. For reasons still under investigation, the Nissan crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the GMC.
Wells, who was unrestrained, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the GMC was properly restrained, sustained moderate injuries, and was transported to a local hospital. As part of the ongoing investigation, routine toxicology samples were obtained from both drivers for analysis…
