Destin Chamber President & CEO Shane Moody recently won the Executive of the Year Award presented by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP) during the organization’s annual conference, held Sept. 24-25 in Boca Raton.
The award recognizes a chamber executive who has made outstanding contributions to the world and the work of chamber management. Recipients must meet several criteria, including strong internal administration and organization, the ability to maintain an increased membership, development of a strategic plan, and an ability to recruit, motivate and reward volunteers.
