Milwaukee mayor seeks solutions to public safety, affordable housing issues in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON — The annual gathering of the Conference of Mayors is an opportunity for local leaders to discuss issues important to their communities, share concerns and appeal to federal officials for help.

“When dollars come directly to local governments, we’re able to make the impact,” Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson said.
