Mrs. Lorraine Jarvie Shelton Purdy, age 93 of Harriman, TN passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 24, 1931, in Williamsburg, Kentucky to Tom Shelton and Josephine Stephens Shelton. She was a caretaker for several years. She married Julian Ray Purdy and they spent 35 wonderful years together. She loved camping, boating, and water skiing. However, most of all she adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Tom and Josephine Shelton; husband: Julian Purdy; three sisters, two brothers, one niece, and one nephew.
