VALPARAISO, Ind. – A Porter County Sheriff’s Deputy was arrested early Saturday morning for driving while intoxicated.
The Porter County Sheriff’s Office said shortly before 2:30 a.m., a Valparaiso police officer pulled over a 2016 Jeep SUV in the area of U.S. Highway 30/County Road 250 West in Center Township. The officer then found probable cause that the driver of the Jeep, identified as Corporal Robert Gosbin, was operating while intoxicated.

Gosbin was immediately placed on administrative leave and an internal investigation has begun, according to officials.
