Batavia City Hall has appointed Deputy Chief of Operations Eric Blowers as the next Chief of Police for the Batavia Police Department. His appointment becomes effective on January 14th, following the retirement of Chief Shawn Mazza.
Blowers has been with the department for 17 years, starting as a patrol officer and serving in multiple roles during his career.
