Fay LaRue (Beeghly) Bentz (92) went to be with her Lord on September 6, 2024. She was born in Brotherton, Pa on August 3, 1932, graduated from Somerset High School in 1950, and shortly thereafter, married Robert Bentz, her husband of 65 years.
She held jobs at the Somerset Five-and-Dime, Walter’s Tire Service, DeVilbus, Sayer’s Jewelry Store, and Garber’s Jewelry. Fay enjoyed many different activities to include, dancing with her husband, crocheting, sewing, gardening, playing cards with friends and family, and doing puzzles.
She deeply loved being with her family and took great delight in being a devoted wife, raising her children, loving on friends, and serving in the church. She was member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, Va for 28 years.
