FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) is celebrating one of its own as he has been honored with the state-wide recognition of Deputy of the Year.
“I was honored for one shock for another,” Cpl. Brady Parson said.

That’s how Parson summed up how it felt to receive Deputy of the Year at the Maryland Sheriff’s Association Conference.
“There are so many other people that have led me to this position and led me to like the opportunities that I’ve had within the agency that would even put me in this category of people,” Parson said. “It’s not just my work, but it’s other people around me that do just as good a job.”…
