Fall River man sentenced to life in prison for 2018 murder. He shot a man 7 times.

FALL RIVER — A Fall River man was sentenced to life in prison for stalking and shooting to death a man downtown in broad daylight in 2018 .

Keishon Workman , 25, of Fall River, was convicted of first-degree murder and carrying an illegal firearm after a two-week trial in Fall River Superior Court. Judge Thomas McGuire sentenced Workman to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years.

In the afternoon of Valentine’s Day 2018, Workman, then 19, found Maurice Timberlake, 24, in the area of South Main and Morgan streets, near the T.A. Restaurant, and shot him seven times at close range in the head and chest…
