Medway man who’s accused of raping girl is scheduled for danger hearing on Sept. 25

MEDWAY A local man is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Wrentham District Court to determine whether he is a danger to the public after authorities accused him of repeatedly raping a girl earlier this year.

Medway police arrested Luis Rodrigo Lema-Pomavilla on Sept. 17 at his 30 Wellington St. home, Police Chief William Kingsbury said.

“It’s a pretty bad case,” Kingsbury said. “It was a very complex investigation, and it took a while to get everything we needed to arrest him.”…
