Taunton man accused of selling thousands of fake pills to undercover cop

TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — A Taunton man was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly selling counterfeit pills to an undercover officer, U.S. Attorney Joshua Levy announced.

Shavon Gurley, 29, who also goes by “Soo Soo,” is charged with possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Police said they searched Gurley’s home and car and found a loaded gun, fentanyl, and about 10,000 counterfeit Adderall pills containing methamphetamine.
