ALBANY, Ga. (WALB)—A high-pressure system is keeping us cooler in the mornings and giving us warmer afternoons. Lows for Monday morning will be in the upper 40s and low 50s before staying in the 50s for Tuesday. Plenty of sunshine for the day on Monday and beyond.

Rain chances remain low through the entire workweek as high pressure continues to dominate the forecast. As the high slides eastward, moisture will slide in but not enough for rainfall. A new cold front moves in on Thursday and highs remain in the 80s. Sunshine will remain in abundance. Lows will reside in the mid-50s with highs in the 80s for most of the week ahead.

Tropical Update: Hurricane Oscar will bring impacts to Cuba and the Bahamas as a Category 1 hurricane. There will be no direct impacts on the continental United States. No other disturbances to watch at this time…
