Apalachee High plans digital day amid new security rollout

BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — On Thursday, January 8, 2025, the Barrow County Board of Education made a unanimous decision to enhance security measures across its three high schools by approving the purchase and implementation of the OpenGate Weapons Detection System.
