Oconee County thriller highlighted by TE Mason Hall’s career night; Jefferson gets unseated

WATKINSVILLE — There were 33 seconds left on the clock. 33 seconds, where Oconee County football had to capitalize or it would lose the game.

It was 24-17, Jefferson senior QB Gavin Markey had pulled the Dragons ahead on a sneak at the 4:04 marker. The Warriors were desperate, grasping at every ledge they could find. Luckily, sophomore TE Mason Hall and senior QB Titus Watkins knew just what to do. It was all or nothing.
