The Braves sent their dynamic rookie to the mound tonight, hoping to build on a strong first season where he’s been excellent lately: a 3-2 record and 3.02 ERA in his last seven starts.

Schwellenbach struggled a bit with his locations and efficiency tonight, but still put forth a strong effort.

“Schwelly” went an out shy of five full innings, striking out eight and allowing no runs, but with five runs and three walks.
