Twins’ late rally falls short in 8-6 loss to Braves

The Minnesota Twins dropped the second of three games against the Atlanta Braves at Target Field Tuesday night, 8-6.

Minnesota’s bats were quiet for the majority of the game as they entered the seventh inning down 4-0.

However, the Twins combined to score four runs in the seventh and eighth innings off Atlanta’s bullpen to tie the game but failed to hold the lead in the top of the 10th inning, as Jhoan Duran surrendered three runs (including the automatic baserunner, tallying a total of four) while only retiring one batter in the frame…
