Cowboys cutting ties with franchise legend, 3-time Pro Bowler

The Dallas Cowboys are letting a franchise legend go.

Dallas brought back three-time Pro Bowler Ezekiel Elliott ahead of the 2024 season and it has been an odd campaign. The Cowboys only gave him 74 rushing attempts and he tallied 226 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Clearly, things didn’t work out this year. With just one game left in the season, the Cowboys are letting him go to allow him the opportunity to land with a contender for the postseason, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero…
