Cortlandt Manor resident Vasel Balbona was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 16 in connection with an incident that occurred months earlier in July 2024 in Yorktown, Yorktown Police said on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
According to the department, on the day of the crash at around 11:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of a two-car accident on Route 118. Upon arrival, police found that the driver of one vehicle had allegedly left the scene after striking another car from behind, police said.
Balbona then allegedly failed to stay in his lane and entered the opposite lane of travel before colliding with an oncoming vehicle near the intersection with Route 100, the department said…
