ANSONIA — A person was hospitalized Sunday after their car crashed into a telephone pole, officials said.
In a post on Facebook, the Ansonia Fire Department said it was called at about 2:30 p.m. about a crash involving a telephone pole.
Officials said arriving units found a vehicle off the road after it had struck a telephone pole and broken it in half. They said the driver was taken to the hospital by emergency medical services, although they did not comment on the severity of the injuries…
