ORANGE — A drive-thru coffee chain received its first of several approvals Monday needed to establish a location on the Boston Post Road.
7 Brew Coffee, an Arkansas-based chain that began in 2017 and has rapidly expanded nationally, opened its first Connecticut location in Wallingford last summer . In its first meeting of 2025, the Orange Zoning Board of Appeals granted a variance offering the chain its first step in replacing a derelict building at 112 Boston Post Road, a high-traffic area at the edge of the Orange and West Haven border.
Engineer Marcus Puttock said before the ZBA that the business model for 7 Brew Coffee is “a drive-up-only, coffee-drinks-only business with no seating.”…
