Rapper Fatman Scoop’s cause of death has been confirmed after he tragically passed away last month at the age of 53.
The hip-hop star had been performing on stage in Connecticut last month when he collapsed and was rushed to hospital. He later passed away despite the efforts made by doctors to save his life.
Now the state medical examiner’s office has determined that Scoop – born Isaac Freeman III – died from heart disease . A spokesperson for the Connecticut medical examiner’s office confirmed his cause of death was hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
