A Boston man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a violent gang.
Eric Correia, also known as “Bubba,” pleaded guilty to participating in a racketeering enterprise (RICO) and distributing marijuana. He was sentenced by U.S. Senior District Court Judge William G. Young to 15 years in prison followed by three years of supervised release.
Correia was a member of the Cameron Street gang, known for using violence and intimidation tactics in Dorchester, Boston. The gang uses firearms to murder and assault rivals, and to protect their drug operations…
