Boston Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Role in Illegal Gun Trafficking Scheme

A Boston resident has been sentenced to federal prison for his involvement in a scheme that facilitated the illegal trafficking of firearms. Gustavo Rodriguez, 22, must serve one year and one day behind bars, followed by three years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to federal firearm offenses, including conspiracy to make false statements in records kept by federally licensed firearm dealers (FFLs) and aiding and abetting the making of false statements, according to a Facebook post by the Lowell Police Department.
