Notre Dame has found its quarterback for the 2025 class with the announcement that Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick standout signal caller Blake Hebert had committed to the Fighting Irish. It’s the second big flip of the day for Notre Dame, who flipped Hebert from Clemson.
Herbert isn’t a new name for Notre Dame. When the Irish first started putting the 2025 quarterback board together they made him a very early priority. Hebert visited Notre Dame in the winter of 2023, and the Irish staff made an early push for him, but Herbert ultimately picked Clemson.
Notre Dame then moved onto other quarterbacks, including Deuce Knight , who eventually committed to the Irish. When Knight flipped to Auburn, Notre Dame quickly went back to work, and Hebert was clearly a player the staff remained very, very high on throughout the process. Notre Dame had two coaches out to see Hebert during the bye week, and the staff has been making a hard push for him in recent weeks…
