MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The residents of six apartments at a complex on Pleasant Valley Road are without their homes following a Christmas morning blaze.
Mobile Fire-Rescue Department firefighters were dispatched at about 7:19 a.m. for a report of an apartment fire at Courtyard Apartments in the 3200 block of Pleasant Valley Road, the department reported.
Units arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke showing from second-floor apartments. Firefighters made entry into the building to extinguish the fire.
