As Mobile-area restaurants and nightspots began to dig out from this week’s historic snowstorm, one of them offered up a plea for patrons.
“Small Favor,” the proprietors of old-school burger joint Roshell’s Café and Diner said in a Facebook post. “When all the snow & ice clears up, support/shop/eat your favorite small businesses first. They’ve likely missed at least 2 days of work, which could make or break their bills for this month. They need you, and honestly, your community needs them.”
If you’re craving one of the venue’s famed Steer Burgers, the closure will end soon: “We’ll reopen Thursday, so call for take out, or drop in to resocialize after being cooped up inside,” said the post. (Roshell’s is at 2906 Spring Hill Ave.; call 251-479-4614.)…
