Rock Island has announced entry award winners for the 40th annual Labor Day Parade that was held Sept. 2.
The awards will be presented at Monday’s city council meeting that begins at 6:45 p.m. on the third floor of the County Office Building, 1504 Third Ave.
This year’s theme was “Parade of Celebrations,” and entries included students from local schools as well as local businesses, nonprofits, marching units, youth groups, horses and individual families…
