Authorities across the Miami Valley investigating threats to schools

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Parents across the Miami Valley are concerned as threats against local schools continue.

Riverside police were at two schools Friday morning after threats began circulating on social media . The threat was reported Thursday evening, prompting authorities to use bomb detection dogs to conduct a sweep of the school buildings.

Police believe there is no current threat to the schools, and now they are using forensic science to find the individual responsible and try to figure out why they did it.
