Dayton breaks record for daily snowfall Thursday

The National Weather Service says a record amount of snow has fallen in Dayton on Thursday.

1.4 inches of snow was recorded in Dayton, which breaks the previous record set in 1996, according to the NWS.

South of Dayton, Cincinnati got 1.5 inches, which broke a record set in 1956.
