The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is asking people for help identifying a man who allegedly abandoned a crate with seven sick puppies Wednesday afternoon outside their facility.
The puppies were found in frigid temperatures, the humane society says, and have severe cases of parvovirus.

The humane society’s footage shows a dark sedan pull up outside the humane society, and a man exits the vehicle. The man pulls a pink wire crate from the back seat and places it on the ground, he then gets back in the car and it leaves.
The puppies are being treated, and their necessary treatment is expensive, the humane society says.
“Leaving animals abandoned on the sidewalk in the frigid cold is illegal. However, at this point we are more concerned for the health of these puppies as well as any other animals that may still be in this individual’s household,” said Brian Weltge, President & CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. “Parvo is extremely contagious, and if other animals in the home are infected, they may also need urgent medical care.”…
