Ohio Winter Storm: Up to 4 Inches of Snow Expected Friday into Saturday

Columbus, OH – A winter weather advisory has been issued for Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, bringing significant snowfall starting Friday. The advisory, announced by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wilmington, warns of snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches across several counties.

The advisory begins at 11 a.m. Friday and continues through 7 a.m. Saturday. According to NWS, affected areas include Delaware, Franklin, and Fairfield counties in Ohio, along with parts of eastern Indiana and northern Kentucky. Snowfall will likely create hazardous travel conditions, especially during Friday evening’s commute.

NWS reports the heaviest snowfall will occur Friday afternoon through evening, potentially reducing visibility and increasing travel delays. Residents in impacted areas, including Columbus, Wilmington, and Chillicothe, should prepare for slick roads and plan for slower travel times.
