Vandalia crews rescue man who reportedly fell into train car

VANDALIA, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Vandalia crews were called after a person got stuck in a train car early Sunday morning.

Around 5:15 a.m., Vandalia Fire Division was called to the train tracks at Taylorsville MetroPark to rescue a person trapped in a train car. The person was reportedly on top of the train car before falling inside.

Rescue crews were able to get the man out, and he was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Crews on scene did not comment on why the man was on top of the train car…
