Hurricane Helene is a Category 3 hurricane as it approaches Florida’s Big Bend coast, where it is expected to make landfall tonight .
The National Hurricane Center says the storm is “expected to bring catastrophic winds and storm surge to the northeastern Gulf Coast.”
