MARIETTA — Twenty five Cobb County Adult Detention Center detainees received diplomas Thursday for completing two education programs offered by the Cobb Sheriff’s Office.
Graduating inmates were recognized for completing the jail’s GED program and Parenting 101 courses. Each course is provided through the detention center’s Realign Restart Initiative, an educational program designed to reduce the risk of inmates committing crimes in the future.
