Dunwoody’s Martin Luther King Day of Service registration open

The City of Dunwoody and its partners are looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of capacities around the city during the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Jan. 20.

According to a release from the city, Dunwoody Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Dunwoody-Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc . to recognize the national MLK Day holiday with volunteer service projects, a community food drive and blood drive.

“Every year, we look forward to building on the enthusiasm and success of the MLK Day of Service,” President Denise Daisy, president of  Jack and Jill of America, said. “It’s important that we take inspiration from Dr. King and invest in the communities in which we live.”…
