Georgia Road Rage Turns Deadly: Man Counts to Three Before Pulling the Trigger

A road rage incident in Duluth, Georgia, turned violent when a man allegedly followed through on a chilling threat to shoot after counting to three. Now, 30-year-old Josue Colon Matos is facing serious charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a crime, and reckless driving. He is currently in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.

It all started on the evening of December 23 on Pleasant Hill Road, about 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. Duluth Police officers were called to the scene around 8 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his left foot.

The victim, clearly shaken, told police, “I can’t believe he shot me. He was tailgating me. He kept bothering me, and I got upset.”…
