ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Witness testimony continued in the Young Thug trial on Tuesday, but not before Judge Paige Reese Whitaker addressed an email that was sent to her office by a juror.
The email requested that the juror be removed from the case. Whitaker read the email in court.
“Good morning Judge Whitaker, I am requesting to be removed from the current case due to the length of this trial and how the state has handled this case, I will be biased towards any decisions moving forward,” Judge Whitaker read from the email. “Yesterday provided a glimpse of how the state presented its evidence and I foresee another three to six months with the remaining defendants, thanks.”…
