ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Protests against Amazon have paused for the holidays, but the Teamsters Union is not backing down in its ongoing battle with the delivery giant.
For nearly a week, dozens of delivery drivers in Alpharetta, along with others nationwide, participated in protests calling for higher wages, better benefits and safer working conditions. The drivers, all members of the Teamsters Union, hit the picket line in an effort to push Amazon to improve the treatment of its workers.
While the picketing has stopped for now, a statement from the Teamsters made it clear that the fight isn’t over…
